UCP does not refund the value of purchased items, unless the purchase is made through Online Shop UCP website and under article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February: Right of free withdrawal in contracts concluded at a distance or concluded outside the establishment. In this case, the return costs are borne by the User.
Items returned must be in conditions of sale.
To request an exchange or return, the user must use the specific form in their customer account.
If the value resulting from an exchange of items is higher than its initial value, the user will have to pay the difference, using one of the payment methods available for this. If the value resulting from the exchange of items is less than the value of the initial order to be exchanged, the value will be refunded to the user by bank transfer, so it may be necessary to request additional information. The same applies to cases of returns where there will be a refund of the total amount of the order.
If article purchase is made in one of UCP establishments, the customer is entitled to its return in case of defect or other non-conformity that is impossible to replace. In this case, the customer will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the article, but will be responsible for the direct costs of its returning, if not choosing to have it returned in person.
In accordance with the applicable rules, the customer can, within 15 days, exchange a purchased product for another or others that are equal to or greater than the original purchase.
Any exchange or return only occurs in the case of the products:
· Not having been washed or used. The customer has the right to try the articles but not to use them.
· Keeping their original characteristics and packaging undamaged.
· Be complete, without any missing piece, if applicable.
